Polypropylene possesses excellent resistance to organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic attack. It has a lower impact strength, but irs working temperature and tensile strength are superior to low or high density polyethelene. It is light in weight, resistant to staining, and has a low moisture absorption rate.

Low Density Polyethelene (LDPE)
An extruded material offering good corrosion resistance properties and low moisture permeability. It can be used in applications where corrosion resistance is a factor, but stiffness, high temperature and structural strength are not. It can be easily fabricated, vacuum formed and welded.

High Density Polyethelene (HDPE)
High Density polyethelene offers superior corrosion resistance, a higher working temperature range, and higher tensile strength.

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethelene (UHMW)
Performs well under the most rigorous conditions of wear and environment because of its unique combination of physical and mechanical properties. Not only does it have the highest known impact strength of any thermoplastic currently available but it also offers high resistance to abrasion, demonstrating only negligible weight loss when subjected to abrasion against copper, brass or steel. In addition to these properties, a very low coefficient of friction and extremely low moisture absorption make UHMW an extraordinary material for industrial wear, impact and sliding applications. Particularly effective were no lubrication is available or during operation in the presence of water, UHMW is non-toxic, odorless, tasteless and FDA approved for direct contact in meat and poultry processing. UHMW can be easily sawed, milled, turned, planed, drilled or punched on standard wood working equipment. UHMW offers diversity of usage in touch applications in a wide range of industries.

High Impact Styrene, an alloy of styrene and butadiene, is an outstanding material for vacuum forming and screen printing point of purchase displays. High Impact styrene sheet can be used in lighting panels, advertising displays, drip pans, electronic components and model making. High Impact styrene rod and slab is supplied in a natural translucent white color. It is annealed and has excellent resistance to most mineral oils, organic acids, alkalis, salts and alchohols. It has excellent dimensional stability, is easily machined and FDA compliant. Its high impact resistance, good electrical properties, and relatively light weight make it suitable for many unique applications. High Impact styrene is generally supplied with a matte finish and opaque white color.

PETG is a thermoplastic copolyester sheet material. It features good clarity and impact strength. PETG offers resistance to frontal and drop ball impacts comparable to polycarbonate. Furthermore, it is far less costly and typically can be formed without the added expense of pre-drying. It has more impact than acrylic, which often allows use of thinner gauges. PETG has FDA approval for food contact applications but it is not recommended for outdoor or high temperature applications.
