FEATURED MATERIALS
PLASTIC SHEET
ACRYLIC
Acrylic is a plastic sheet material that combines monomer molecules and polymerizes them into chains. Acrylic sheets are manufactured through bulk-polymerization, where monomers are mixed with catalysts and heated to high temperatures in an oxygen-free environment. The resulting liquid is cooled and dried to form acrylic sheets.
Key features
- Lightweight and transparent
- High strength-to-weight ratio
- Impact resistant and corrosion resistant
- Can be formed into almost any shape or size
- Very slippery surface, making it easy to work with
- Coating and laminating
- Paints, coatings and inks
- Boat windows
- Medical devices
- Automotive parts
Typical Applications
- Windows
- Greenhouses
- Signs
- Displays
- Aquariums
ACRYLIC MIRROR
Acrylic mirrors are optical-grade acrylic plastic sheets that have been treated with a coating of reflective material. They are commonly called ‘plexiglass mirrors’ and can be made in any shape or size. The reflective coating is typically applied by vacuum-metalizing, which involves heating the acrylic surface and then sending it through a vacuum chamber containing vaporized metal. This process results in a highly reflective mirror finish that is incredibly durable and scratch resistant.
Key features
- High light reflectivity
- Excellent durability and scratch resistance
- Ability to be molded into any shape or size
- Lightweight yet rigid construction
- Non-yellowing over time
- Easy to clean and maintain
Typical Applications
- Interior and exterior decoration
- Retail store displays
- Advertisements
- Toolboxes and toys
- Safety systems (e.g., security cameras)
- Traffic control systems
- Health care facilities
POLYCARBONATE
Polycarbonate is a thermoplastic resin plastic sheet made of polymers bonded together by chemical bonds. Polycarbonate is created through the process of free radical polymerization. This involves adding a small amount of catalyst to a molten mixture of bisphenol A and phosgene, which allows them to react and form long chain-like molecules. This reaction forms polycarbonate plastics that contain a repeating pattern of carbon atoms connected by single bonds. The resulting material is then shaped and molded into different forms for use in various applications.
Key features
- Lightweight
- Durable
- Impact and chemical resistant

- Footwear
- Medical supplies, including shields and goggles
ABS
ABS plastic sheet is typically manufactured using a combination of thermoplastic polymers such as acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. The materials are blended in specific ratios to create the desired properties of the final product. This blend is then fed into an extruder, where it is melted down and formed into various shapes, such as pellets or sheets. From there, it can be injection molded or thermoformed into any number of products.
